Why does the world need to grow legumes? This is the question discussed in a webinar presented by a Finnish national project.
The Finnish project Leg4Life looks at the role of legumes, particularly faba bean, through the crop, food, consumer and nutrition chain. It has started a series of webinars and Fred Stoddard, coordinator of LegumeGap, held the first talk on “why does the world need to grow legumes?” You can listen to it and the other two talks about ruminant nutrition and environmental impacts, all in Finnish.
